Number of Random Stores to Show on Stores Page – The maximum number of random stores to display on the main storefronts page.
Store Billing Day of Month – The billing day of the month that a user is charged for their online store. A transaction is posted to the user’s invoic
Example:
Store A is created on Aug 26th and charged $50 setup fee (which is in effect the first month charge)
The Store Billing Day of Month is set to 1 in the admin settings
On September 2nd the store fee processing is run, however store A is not charged because the store hasn’t been opened for an entire month yet.
On September 28th the store fee processing is run again, however no stores fees are charged because the next scheduled “store fee process date”, Oct 1st, has not arrived yet.
On October 2nd the store fee processing is run yet again, this time store A IS charged because:
(1) it has been a month or more since Store A was created and
(2) the next scheduled store fee process date has arrived.
When processing finishes, the next scheduled “store fee process date” is set to Nov 1 (because “Store Billing Day of Month” is set to 1).
