Overview of Creating a Web API Client

This section takes you through the development of a simple small device Web API client as shown in the image. The page uses HTML5, jQuery Mobile, and AJAX to authenticate with AuctionWorx Web API and retrieve a list of the user's AuctionWorx listings.

The complete source code is available for download.

Note: This tutorial assumes you have followed the steps to install and configure RainWorx.FrameWorx.MVC in your development environment.

• Adding a Web API Controller to Retrieve Listings
• Generating the RWX_BASIC Header
• Sending the Request from the Client
• Rendering the Listings on the Client
• Installing the Web API Client in your Project
