Designate Category Listing Formats
Specify what listing formats are allowed in a specific category.
Version 5.0 includes new listing formats - Reverse Auctions and RFQ - increase the already large set of application uses. Administrators can now optionally approve listings before they are displayed or even sellers before they can start listing. Streamlined HTML/CSS code and many performance enhancements with SQL stored procedures top off the list.
Reverse Auctions Listing Format
Reverse Auctions are an optimal way to source goods and services. This auction format
has one buyer with many sellers. The lowest bid determines the winner.
Request For Quote (RFQ) Listing Format
This procurement model allows bidders to include documentation with their bid, usually
more information on the seller's products or services being offered. The lowest
bid does not determine the “winner.” After reviewing all offers, the listing agent
can choose the party they wish to do business with.
Admin Listing Approval System
As site administrator you can now elect to review all listings before they are activated (viewable) on the website.
