Maintenance
This section contains settings for essential functions and data management.
Processing Enabled - When checked, the scheduler will start, end, and close listings, and refresh fees (owed by user). If the site administrator wants to "pause" automated processing of the site, this option may be unchecked.
If Enabled, the following background processes would run:
- Starting Listings - Activates listings set to begin in the future
- Listing Resolution - Ends and resolves listings
- Fee Refresher - Calculates fees owed
- Notifier - Manages sending emails
If this option is not enabled, the above processes do not run (listings never start or end, no system emails, and no fee invoicing).
Automatically Delete Listings - A daily function to delete old closed listing data. If enabled, the old listing data removal process will be triggered at the selected time. Only closed listing data older than the defined value (in days) will be removed.
Note: By default, only unsuccessful listing data will be removed. You can optionally select to delete listing data from successful listings.
Delete Listings Now - Manually select to run the delete listing process.
Clear Cache - For performance reasons, Categories and Custom Fields are cached for a short period of time. Clicking this button immediately clears the cache allowing the newly added categories and custom fields to be loaded.
