How to setup DNS records to point to RainWorx Servers on GoDaddy

This is a guide for pointing your new domain name from a provider like GoDaddy to an AuctionWorx installation that is hosted with RainWorx.

  1. To change the DNS setting to point to the RainWorx Domain Name Servers, click on the username dropdown menu and then the My Products link.

  2. In the Domains section of this page, click the Manage All link.

  3. From the Manage All Domains page, you can open the ellipsis menu and select Manage DNS.

  4. Scroll to the Nameservers section and click the Change button.

  5. Click the Enter my own nameservers (advanced) link.

  6. Enter in the following server addresses:

    DNS1.RWASPHOST.COM
    DNS2.RWASPHOST.COM
    

    ...and click the Save button.

  7. Once the settings have been changed on GoDaddy, be sure to contact RainWorx Support to tell them the specific domain name that you've changed the DNS records for. Reach out to the Support Representative you've been working with or contact RainWorx Support by opening a Support Ticket.

Note

Once the DNS records have been changed, it usually takes about 5 minutes to update but in rare circumstances, it can take 24 to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate across the internet.
