Preferences

The Preferences page has settings for configuration of the Consignment system across the site.

Global Consignor List - If enabled, all sellers will use the same list of consignors.

Note

When enabled, all sellers can edit all consignor details, including fees and addresses.

Note

When the Global Consignor List is toggled from ON to OFF, the system automatically transfers ownership of consignors between the Global list and the Default Admin user account

Auto Generate Statements - If enabled, consignor statements will be automatically generated immediately after each event or listing ends.

Hide Listing Fees On Statement When Zero - If enabled, Statements will only display Listing Fees details if the value is greater than zero.

Hide Commission On Statement When Zero - If enabled, Statements will only display Commission details if the value is greater than zero.

Automatically Void Consignment when Sales Transaction is Voided - When Enabled: When a sale is voided and an unpaid statement references this sale then the statement line item will be removed and voided at the same time, resulting in re-calculating the statement.

Note

If the statement exists but has already been marked paid then the associated consignment line item and statement will not be updated automatically.

Send Listing Questions To Consignors - When enabled, Public Q&A Listing Questions will be sent to the consignor if assigned, instead of the listing owner. The owner and admins will still be able to answer or delete listing questions, but consignors will also be able to answer the questions.
